Return
Policy
We extend
to each customer our commitment to your satisfaction on
every product we sell. In the unlikely event that it may be
necessary to return an item, all returns require
authorization from a representative of our company. Returns
must be authorized in advance, please speak to a company
representative. We reserve the right to refuse all
returns. All patio covers sold by our company are custom
made to order, therefore we retain the right to accept or
refuse returns if your order was not cancelled within the
first 24 hours. If we do accept a return, please be aware
that you will be responsible for all return shipping costs
as well as a 35% restocking fee - however this is at our
discretion and most likely we will be unable to accept
return of your order (as it is custom made). If we do
accept a return, all returned products must be in original
packaging, in as-new condition with the packing slip, all
warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
Cancellation Policy
As long as
we have not started the fabrication process of your patio
cover, carport, or patio room system, you can cancel your
order at any time. The time frame from order to fabrication
is usually 24 hours from the time of your initial order. If
you need to cancel your order, you should attempt to do so
as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made by
telephone, please speak to a company representative. Please
visit our contact information webpage for our customer
service telephone number. We appreciate your understanding
that orders cannot be cancelled by e-mail, Fax or by leaving
a message after hours.
Refusal
of Delivery Policy
Please do
not refuse a delivery. In the case of a refused delivery
our above stated Return Policy will apply. We reserve the
right to not to refund. You will be resonsible for all
shipping costs incurred by your refusal, to include return
to our location and return back to your location in the case
that we do not accept your refused order. If you wish to
return your patio product, please contact us for
authorization of a return.
Delivery Policy/Shipping Costs
All
product sold by this company are carefully packaged and
shipped standard ground shipping by
UPS or Common Carrier on all orders within the continental United States.
The shipping company insures all items shipped. Our
standard shipping charge is thirty-five dollars. This
shipping cost does not include orders shipped outside the
Continental US,
Hawaii,
Alaska or International Orders. Shipping charges will be
added for anything other than our standard methods of
shipping and for stand-alone options. *This shipping charge
DOES NOT include unloading of said products, you are solely
responsible for unloading your patio product. Areas of
limited accessibility will be exempt from this offer. *It
will be deemed the customer's responsibility to inform our
company of the potential limitations of their geographic
location as well as limitations of access to their
residential area that a 53-foot freight truck might
encounter (if the truck is unable to access your residential
area you agree to pick-up from the freight center in your
area), appropriate freight rate up-charges will apply
accordingly. Our company reserves the right to end or
change our standard Shipping Charges at any time. Please
contact us for shipping rates on orders outside the
Continental US, International Orders or Custom Orders.
Please
NOTE That any damage incurred during the shipping of your
product by the freight company is not the responsibility of
this company, all claims MUST be filed BY YOU with the
FRIEGHT COMPANY to receive compensation and reimbursement
for the cost of any required replacement parts and the cost
of shipping incurred by replacement parts.
Purchaser Delivery Acceptance Responsibilities
All patio
products/carports will be delivered by Common Carrier (ABF
Freight, N&B, APA, Yellow Freight, or any other major
carrier deemed worthy by the manufacturer). Whenever
possible, for smaller items,
UPS will be used as the delivery company. Please note that the estimated
delivery time quoted to you at the time of your order is
based on information received from the manufacturer at that
time. It can never be a guarantee of delivery time. Our
company will inform you immediately if we become aware of a
change in circumstance from the manufacturer. *In keeping
with our high standard of customer service, both as a
company and with the manufacturers we represent, we would
ask that you keep the following instructions for when you
receive your order.
1.
When shipped by common carrier (not UPS) you will receive a
phone call, in advance, from the shipping company, to make
arrangements for delivery. AT THAT TIME PLEASE TAKE DOWN THE
SHIPPING COMPANY'S NAME AND PHONE NUMBER. If they don't show
up exactly on time, it would be the shipping company you
would call. *Our Company is not responsible for how the
shipping company adheres to their shipping schedules. We
will assist in any way we can however we may not be able to
affect the day's outcome.
2.
Shipments will be delivered to or as close to the
purchaser’s property line (Driveway) provided the location
is deemed accessible by the delivering freight carrier. The
drivers’ responsibility ends by opening up the back of the
truck. *The driver is not responsible to unload to the curb.
It is highly recommended that you have someone to help you
unload your unit from the truck and into the garage or
backyard. In all cases your unit will be shipped and
packaged such that two people can carry any portion of your
unit. You will be given a reasonable time frame to unload
freight ranging between 15-30 minutes. Please be aware that
freight is prepaid and that no additional expenses should be
paid to delivering freight Carriers for deliveries described
above. In the event that a clerical error has occurred -
please contact our office.
3.
If you wish to have the shipping company do more than what
has been laid out above, they do have "pay for service"
options available. You will need to discuss that with the
shipping company when they call to make the delivery time
arrangements.
4.
Delivery Inspection is Your Responsibility! **Open the
boxes and inspect all products, if there is ANY damage you
MUST note it on the Bill of Landing with the shipping
company*** Failure on your part to note damage will result
in your having to pay for any replacement parts, including
shipping. *If you sign the Bill of Landing without noting
damage, this is your verification that you have received
everything in Good Condition! It is your responsibility
to FULLY inspect your shipment, all damages MUST BE noted on
the Bill of Landing you sign in front of the delivery
driver.

Inspect all the packages carefully for ANY damage, this is
very inportant.
·
Please note ALL damages on the bill of lading which
the driver has you sign. If you sign without noting damage
this is your acceptance that there is no damage and that you
have received everything in good condition.

There may not be any damage to the unit itself; however, if
we do need to get some new parts out to you, knowing who is
responsible for the damage will help speed the process up.
·
Please understand that it is only the most extreme cases of
damage where the shipment should be refused. If you are
considering refusing, please attempt to get hold of us while
the driver is still there. We will try to guide you in this
decision. Refusal policy applies.
·
If the damage is severe as to warrant that the unit be
refused, know in advance, that it will take a several weeks
or more to get a replacement shipped.
*Please
note that the shipping companies reserve the right to come
out to the site to inspect any damages being claimed. Most
shippers and drivers are wonderful people and honestly do
their best to assist you; however damage and accidents can
occur. If there is damage, stay calm, there is always
someone to assist you with the inconvenience. Call us right
away.
Customer Responsibilities:

Codes
Obtaining
necessary permits is the sole responsibility of the
purchaser. Customers agree to hold this company, it’s
distributors, and the manufacturer free of any liability for
improper installation, maintenance and repair. It is the
sole responsibility of the purchaser to know the
requirements for their local area. *We cannot offer any
counsel or advice concerning building codes or building code
related questions. By Purchasing you certify that you are
aware of your local codes and that you are knowledgeable
that the product you are purchasing will meet your needs.
We sell various products - you must ensure that the item you
are purchasing meets your needs. In the event that you
order a patio cover product/carport that does not fulfill
the building requirements for your area, our company return
policy will apply. Please contact one of our
representatives prior to purchasing your patio cover
product/carport if you have any questions.
Installation Advice and Instructions
All
products sold by this company are DO-IT-YOURSELF Projects,
it is the SOLE-RESPONSIBILITY of the purchaser to install
the project themselves. Installation instructions provided
by this company are the manufacturer's provided installation
instructions and only provide only a general overview of
installation steps and are not specific to the
particularities of each kit sold by this company, meaning:
each product that we sell varies in measurements and
additionally each location in which our products are
installed is different. It is our strong recommendation
that you review our installation instructions before
purchasing so that you might better determine if you are
able to install the project. Additionally, it is our strong
recommendation that you be comfortable and familiar with
what is required to install a patio cover and or patio
room. Each product that we sale requires that the purchaser
have proficiency in understanding how the products that we
sell are installed. *Our company can not offer advice or
suggestions if you have a question that arises during your
installation process, installation is the sole
responsibility of the purchaser. If you call and ask a
question we can not advice as we are unable to see your
particular project, additionally YOU AGREE NOT TO HOLD THIS
COMPANY RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPROPER INSTALLATION. IT IS SOLELY
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER TO MAKE ALL FINAL
INSTALLATION DECISIONS--YOU ARE THE INSTALLER AND
INSTALLATION IS ENTIRELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. AS IT IS YOUR
INSTALLATION PROJECT, YOU
ARE THE EXPERT
AND ARE
ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPER INSTALLATION. IF YOU FEEL
UNCOMFORTABLE INSTALLING YOU PROJECT, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND
THAT YOU FIND A PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER.
